Lionel Messi's talent was early detected by his father. When he began playing with the local team, his potential was quickly identified by Barcelona. At the age of 11, he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency, which is a medical condition in which the body does not produce enough growth hormone and whose treatment necessitates a lot of money. He left Rosario-based Newell's Old Boys's youth team in 2000 and moved with his family to Europe, as Barcelona offered treatment for his growth hormone deficiency. Making his debut in the 2004–05 season, he broke the La Liga record for the youngest footballer to play a league game, and also the youngest to score a league goal. Major honors soon followed as Barcelona won La Liga in Messi's debut season, and won a double of the league and Champions League in 2006. His breakthrough season was in 2006–07; he became a first team regular, scoring a hat-trick in El Clásico and finishing with 14 goals in 26 league games. Perhaps his most successful season was the 2008–09 season, in which Messi scored 38 goals to play an integral part in a treble-winning campaign.

                                           Lionel Messi is an argentian soccer player who is currently playing for a European soccer club called FC Barcelona. as a forward he has played in started also Messi is a Spanish as well too because he has lived in Spain of over five years. and therefore he got his height and 68kg of weight Lionel Messi has achieved lots of thing with the national and club teams but also many personal awards. during his young career as a professional player that is still going on. And Messi is a goal machine there no better way to put it. he is the all-time top scorer in the Spanish league La Liga with 417 goals.

Messi is widely considered by many experts and critics as the greatest football players of all time. Messi has 5 Ballon d’ or awards. Messi was awarded FIFA World play of the Year in 2009.[8] His playing style and skills are very similar to the Argentine legend Diego Maradona. There is much competition between him and Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo because of their similar skill levels.

Lionel Messi has achieved lots of things with the national and club teams, but also many personal awards during his young career as a professional player that is still going on. 

Messi started to play soccer at a very young age, in his hometown Rosario, Argentina.At the age of 17 years old Messi made his first appearance in an official match against Fc Espanol, in 2004. In Addition, Messis first accomplishment was becoming the youngest Fc Barcelona player, to score a goal in the first division Spanish League at that time.
